Townsville Daily Bulletin Thursday 19 June 1952 Casting for the Townsville Theatrical Society's next production, 'Full House,' by Ivor Novello took place at the Theatre Royal on Tuesday. The play, which is booked to open at the Theatre Royal on August 7, 8 and 9, is to be produced by Bill Reeves, and the following have been selected to appear in the cast: As Lola Leadenhall, Carmol Seckold:Maud, Janice Ashby; Frynne, Thelma Burke; John Rodney, James Thompson; Archie Leadenhall, John Langsford; Lady April Hannington, Jean Holliday: Charlie, Ian Bruce; Mr. Rosenblatt. Barrie de Courcey: Lord Hannington, Len Embury, and as the Detective Inspector, Gordon Waite. The Casting Committee consisted of Mr. Bill Reeves. Mr. John Eckersley and Mr. Alan Stephenson. The committee was gratified at the response and interest shown by the public, especially those volunteering as technical staff. |
