PRODUCER'S NOTE : ''COME BLOW YOUR HORN" is a sophisticated comedy which recently took Australian audiences by storm, when played in the Southern Capitals. It was subsequently filmed by Paramount Studios starring Frank Sinatra, Lee J. Cobb, Molly Picon, Barbara Rush, Jill St. John and Tony Bill, and is still recognised as the best dressed film, set in the fanciest penthouse, to come from the film capital for several years. However, the Townsville Theatrical Society's product¬ion relies on the original play script, the playing rights of which we have ac¬quired in our endeavour to present to our patrons, the very latest in 'up to the minute' entertainment. The story stresses with delightful humour, the contrast between yester-year standard and the beliefs of a new modern generation, growing up amid the hustle and bustle of a big city. In the end it proves that basic decencies are just as legitimate today as they were in our forefathers' time and place and that bachelors, all over the world, will keep running - and Blowing their horns - until they run into the arms of the girls they thought they left behind. I hope you enjoy the antics of "Townsville's Funniest Family" and recommend this show to your friends. To cater for our city patrons, ONE performance will be staged at the air-con¬ditioned Theatre Royal, on Saturday, 2nd April. Bookings may be made at David Jones in their "New Wool Shop" on the ground floor. TERRY CLARK Why not become a member of the TOWNSVILLE THEATRICAL SOCTETV the oldest established company ?
