Successful Queensland ballerina Audrey Nicholls as she left London on her way home after two years in England. Miss Nicholls, 20, from Townsville , is in the Orsova, and will marry 23 year old wool buyer David Johnston.
Townsville girl, Audrey Nicholls, 19, one of the members of the Ballet Rambert which gave a two hour performance for the Queen Mother on Monday Night (2nd Nov 1953). The performance was before Middle Temple benchers and guests in aid of the rebuilding of the famous Middle Temple Church. Miss Nicholls is in the ballet of the Clark Gable – Gene Tierney film “Never Let Me Go”
