The country singer who grew up in Mareeba and Kuranda but now lives in Townsville, competed in Los Angeles at the World Championships of Performing Arts in 2011. She entered the vocal, country, rock, and self-accompanied section. She has also played at the Charters Towers Country Music Festival, was a finalist in the Telstra Road to Tamworth in 2007 and won a songwriting competition at Morton Bay Country Music Festival in 2008.
